A Homeowner’s Guide to Whole-Home Lighting Control
Scenes, dimming and keypads: how a lighting control system changes how a home feels and works.
Lighting control
Replace banks of switches with engraved keypads, set scenes for every moment of the day, and let the house follow the sun. We design and install Lutron and Control4 lighting control for new builds and renovations.

Lighting shapes how a home feels more than any other system. The same room can be bright and practical at breakfast, soft and layered at dinner and barely lit on the way to bed. Lighting control makes those moods one button each, and it does it consistently every day without anyone walking around adjusting dimmers.
We design lighting control around the architecture and the way each space is used. That means fewer, better-placed keypads, scenes that make sense, and a system that your family and guests understand immediately.
How we work
We review the lighting plan with your architect or electrician and decide which circuits are dimmed, grouped or switched. Getting the load schedule right early avoids rework later.
One keypad at the entry to each room usually replaces three or four switches. We locate keypads where you naturally reach, and we keep the button labels simple.
After installation we set trim levels, fade rates and scene levels room by room, then adjust them again after you have lived with the system for a few weeks.
Designed for the islands
Yes. Wireless Lutron and Control4 dimmers replace existing switches without new wiring, and keypads can be added where a switch exists today. New builds allow centralized panels, which give the cleanest walls.
Most will, provided the dimmer is matched to the fixture. We test fixtures before specifying dimmers and recommend compatible lamps where needed.
Keypads replace switches, and every room still has a simple on and off. You never lose basic control.
